Backplane.dev and the Cloud Abstraction API is fully Open Sourced by Backplane Software Ltd. A UK-based company. Backplane began as a project to simplify multi-cloud adoption, enablement and governance. Its author, Lewis Sheridan released it to the Open Source community on the 17th July 2024
